Quality Assurance

By controlling and performing nearly every operation at our facilities, Chico Nut Company is able to offer unique levels of quality control, varietal integrity, flexibility, efficiency and service.

Our quality assurance team processes all paperwork to ensure prompt delivery to customers both domestically and internationally. The quality assurance team also certifies the grade and size and ensures that the micro labs and aflatoxin requirements are clear for domestic or international shipment.

Every shipment is tested for Aflatoxin and Salmonella. If a customer requests, we can send additional tests such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA), Peroxide Value (PV), Aerobic Plate Count, Coliform, E. Coli, Enterobacteriaceae, Mold, Yeast and Staphylococcus Aureus. Chemical testing is done onsite at the JLA lab at our Williams, California facility.
